Retirement

Well the next chapter is just beginning. I will be a free agent on 01 November 2016 when I officially retire from the Army that I have served in for over 32 years of my

Life. I am looking forward to this next chapter in my life, so far I have three options. One I will work at Ft Rucker teaching the next generation of pilots for this great Army. Two I will go over seas and teach in Saudi Araibia or Daubi in the UAE. Or three I will be lucky enough to have a helicopter job near Savannah open up around the time I am ready to retire. I will keep you posted....

Going home for A funeral

It's never easy to go home for a funeral, especially for some one so young.  Jammie was too young he had his whole life in front of him.  A loving wife and two amazing boys who will miss him with all of their hearts for many years to come.  My best friend is hurting so much, he has been there for his son through all of this and I can't even imagine what's it's been like.  As a dad I can not even begin to understand the hurt Jim and sue are going through having to bury a child. It's just not how life is suppose to unfold I pray that they find peace in knowing that their son is in a better place and his suffering is over.
